Happy 4th of July! As I'm visiting with my family in town, a lot has been going through my head. The number one thing is how blessed we are to live in this country. It amazes me day after day, then freedom we have is incredible. Freedom of speech? Freedom of religion?! Did you know people in some countries can get killed for having a prayer service? I was reading Radical by David Platt, he was talking about being in Asia and have a prayer service. First of all, they had to get there in such a sneak and secretive way. Then, once they get there, there is a guard, the blinds are down, the lights are off, and they have to do things in such a secretive way that I was in shock!
So, be thankful today that we have a God who has blessed us with so many things in this country! <3
