Mexico 2011 <3
Day 2!
Sunday, July 10th, 2011 <3 Yay! I love sunday's in Mexico! I woke up on this lovely day got dressed, and ran down the stairs to the courtyard of the orphanage. I sat there for a little, and then I played with Eliza for a little bit. I walked over to the brown picnic table to find Dulce, which is where we met on the sunday I spent in Mexico last year <3 We sat together for a little, then we walked around. Then, we sat down and she started making me a flower out of duct tape and string. I took it to church with me, and we sat together during church. She held my hand the whole time, I was so happy to be there I had missed her so much! Later we just chilled with the kids the whole day, I was with Eliza, and Dulce mostly. This day was pretty fun! Eliza took me in the tv room where the kids go for their "naps," quotes because the actual naps never seem to get taken. It was fun in there, Dulce saw me walk in and her face lit up, and she called my name. I went and sat down with her head on my shoulder, and Eliza on my lap, these are my favorite moment while at Bethel. Then Dulce taught me how to read a book in spanish, hahah.The rest of the day was spent holding kids, playing with kids, loving on kids, you get the point! The kids even made there own pinata, which they proceded to do EVERY single day. (: Later, our group left and we went to the taco stand where we ate dinner. Then we went back to the orphanage and hung out with the kids more. It was a fun day <3 (:
